Global Sport Group Announces Signing of Danny Szetela

New York, New York. September 20, 2006. Global Sport Group, LLC, the international player representation company, today announced the signing of Danny Szetela, the young star of the Columbus Crew and the Under-20 United States National Team.

Szetela is widely considered one of the America's brightest rising starts. Szetela graduated from the United States Soccer Federation's Brandenton Acadmey in 2003 and burst onto the world stage during the Under-17 World Cup in Finland. His play as the second youngest player on the United States roster brought contract offers from a number of top European clubs, including Everton and Manchester City. Szetela decided to stay in the United States, to be close to his family, and signed instead with the Columbus Crew of America's MLS.

Szetela's MLS contract runs through 2007 at which time he expected to be highly sought after in Europe.
