Mr. Messing was the premier American soccer player in the game during the 1970's and 1980's. He was a two-time NCAA All-American, played for the 1972 U.S. Olympic Team and the U.S. National Team, and played with the legendary New York Cosmos, winning a championship ring in 1977 alongside world-class international players Pelé, Franz Beckenbauer and Giorgio Chinaglia.

Mr. Messing became the first player to sign with the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) when he joined the New York Arrows in 1978. In his six years with the club, he led them to four championships, earned five MISL All-Star appearances and captured virtually every league goalkeeping title.

Mr. Messing is a leading figure in international soccer, recognized worldwide for his contacts, integrity and professional negotiating skills. He is currently serving on the Board of NYC 2012 in their bid to bring the Olympic Games to New York City.

Mr. Messing has represented over 140 professional players around the world.

Roy Messing was a professional soccer player for nine years in the North American Soccer League (NASL) and the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) where he still holds two all-time performance records. After retiring from professional soccer in 1988, Mr. Messing earned a BA from Yale College and went on to complete his MBA at Harvard University.

Mr. Messing was an Associate with McKinsey & Company, a global strategic consulting firm, where he advised Fortune 500 clients on a variety of strategic issues, focusing on consumer goods and financial services.

After leaving Mckinsey, Mr. Messing acted as an independent advisor to Charles Schwab & Company, the largest discount brokerage firm in the United States. He then went on to become President of a U.S. subsidiary of a UK FTSE 100 company. In 2000, Mr. Messing became part of the founding management team of CashEdge, a leading provider of online infrastructure solutions for banks, brokerages, financial advisors and wealth managers.

Mr. Messing is a FIFA licensed players' agent, registered with the United States Soccer Federation.
